Our wedding was an opportunity for getting creative and design something to fit within an aesthetic that we already loved. We had decided that all of our center pieces would be made or thrifted. The venue (below) that we had chosen had a great theme already of reclaimed wood bleachers from a local high school, fresh real plants, and a refurbished feel that was also elegant. I really wanted to incorporate the greener and elegance into the design of our table numbers when deciding on wood I wanted cedar that was aged but trying to find nicely aged cedar wasn’t easy so we went with fresh cedar and oiled it to give a bit of an antique feel and left the cuts rough. I also needed to think about batching these out since we needed 25 plus a few extras for picture frames later as gifts.
