Plywood Challenge: Bathroom Cabinets

IMG_1503.jpg

Requirements:

Create better use of our small bathroom. When we bought the house the bathroom was a must remodel. The partition made the bathroom feel much smaller than it needed to.

Constraints:

This was part of a plywood challenge where all the wood should come from just 1 piece of plywood.

Inspiration:

I knew the space was small so overlapping shapes and shelve would help use the space best. Beehives are a very effective use of space so I decided to go with hexagons.I also wanted to smooth out the rough edge left behind from the partition by adjusting the cabinet depth.

Materials:

  • 1 sheet of natural birch plywood

  • Custom cut mirror

  • Blum cabinet hinges
